This program is designed to offer an in depth course in leadership to grow young women ages 11 and up. Confidence, communication, awareness, teamwork, empathy and community service are the focus of study. Our goal is to grow each member’s inner strength and voice. The majority of the teaching is done with horses as well as in a classroom setting and at retreats.
This is an on-going course where a flow and trust is built between the members of the group. The year begins with a private in-depth assessment of each member. During this session the program member shares their aspirations for personal growth as well as growth with horses. We’ll delve into their view of themselves and areas they’d like to grow or expand personally and internally. Throughout the year each member’s progress is tracked and then assessed throughout the program.
Participants have the opportunity for private coaching, group learning sessions, group coaching calls, retreats and camps both with and without the horses. The horses offer a unique view and perspective for the participants to relate to and learn from.
The learning sessions are hands-on for the young women. Throughout the course of the program the participants will incorporate role playing, active discussions, event planning, teaching younger riders, and leading exercises with their peers. Volunteering during various Southern California horse events as well as increased responsibility in all areas of their life are also a part of the program.
Through these processes their own form of feminine leadership can blossom and grow along with their confidence, self esteem and voice.
